Revolution is a free, confidential and professional non-clinical HIV & Sexual Health support service
Revolution provides HIV specialist advice, support and information to all residents of Lancashire living with or affected by HIV. The service aims to enable each person to manage their diagnosis and to reach their goals.
Our Key Workers work closely with the Sexual Health Nursing Teams across Lancashire, offering a seamless package of care to anybody living with or affected by HIV. Offering dedicated one to one support, counselling (person centered, CBT, Solution Focused), Complementary Therapies, group and peer support.
Whether you are recently diagnosed or have been living with HIV for a long time, and have lots of questions or you just need somebody to talk to, we are here to help. It is a free and confidential service. Please contact us and ask to speak to one of the Revolution Key Workers.
Revolution also delivers Sexual Health Outreach across all areas of Lancashire.
- We recognise the issues facing those living with and affected by HIV, we see the impact on individuals and communities
- We support the health and wellbeing needs of individuals living with HIV
- We will complete an assessment with you to find out what your needs are
- We will work with you on a one-to-one basis
- We will refer you to and connect you with other people and services that can help you
- We will fight HIV Stigma in all its forms
Meet Patricia
Patricia is the Revolution event’s vehicle. Boasting a fully clinical space. Patricia can be found in all areas of Lancashire, offering HIV and Sexual Health Awareness, Testing and vital information, as well as access to HIV Prevention tools such free condoms, PrEP and information on U=U.
Patricia can be found at all public events in Lancashire, Blackburn with Darwen and Blackpool, as well as pop up events facilitated by the Revolution Teams, throughout the year.
