Hey there! Welcome to the Revolution Fast Track Clinic. We’re here to make sexual health testing as simple, quick, and stress-free as possible. If you’re 16 or older, we’ve got you covered. Whether you’re tied up during the day or just prefer a relaxed, friendly setting, we’re open every Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM to fit your schedule.
What We Offer
At the Revolution Fast Track Clinic, you can get tested for:
- HIV
- Syphilis
- Chlamydia
- Gonorrhoea
We also provide:
- PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis): A pill that protects you from HIV.
- Vaccinations for HPV and Hepatitis: Keeping you protected and healthy.
If you’ve got symptoms, we’re not the right place for you this time—but no worries! We’ll point you to clinical sexual health services where you can get the care you need.
What Happens When You Visit
We want you to feel totally at ease, so here’s what to expect:
1. When You Arrive
- One of our friendly team members will greet you and guide you to the clinic room.
- You’ll fill out a short form with a few details:
- Your name: Use your real name, or make one up—we’re cool with that.
- Your contact info: Just make sure it’s accurate so we can send you your results. We’ll need two ways to reach you.
- A quick symptom check: Just to make sure this clinic is the right fit for you today.
2. Chat About Your Sexual Health
- We’ll ask a few questions to tailor the testing to your needs, like:
- Who you have sex with (e.g., men, women, non-binary people or all of the above).
- The types of sex you have (e.g., oral, anal, or vaginal).
- Whether you use protection like condoms.
- Don’t worry—there’s zero judgment here, and we’ve heard it all before. Be honest so we can make sure you’re getting the right care.
3. Testing for Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea
- For these tests, we’ll give you self-collection kits:
- Urine sample: For testing infections in the penis.
- Swabs: For testing infections in the vagina, throat, or rectum.
- You’ll head to a private bathroom to take the samples yourself and hand them back to us.
- These samples go to a lab, and you’ll get your results in 1 to 2 weeks.
4. Testing for HIV and Syphilis
- For these, we’ll do a simple finger-prick test:
- A quick poke with a lancet on the end of your finger to collect a tiny bit of blood.
- You’ll get your results on the spot while you’re still with us.
- If the test shows a reactive result, we’ll pass your details to clinical sexual health services, who’ll arrange further testing and treatment if needed. If it’s negative, you’re all set—no follow-up needed.
