Introducing REVOLUTION at Renaissance UK
Renaissance UK, has delivered focused sexual health responses and harm reduction services, specialising in HIV Support and prevention for over 20 years, across Lancashire.
We empower those living with HIV, to succeed and live long and healthy lives whilst striving to eliminate HIV related stigma by educating professionals and the public, in order to influence a fundamental change in the way communities think about HIV in the UK.
We are also working to reduce the onward transmission of prolific STI’s within all the communities we serve. As well as playing a key role in the delivery of local action plans such as ‘Fast Track Cities’ in Blackpool and ‘Getting to Zero’ in all the areas we currently operate.
Shelley Mullarkey – CEO of Renaissance UK Said “We made the decision to re-brand so we can build a stronger identity and a more cohesive approach to project delivery cross county. We received feedback from our clients that the services we deliver in, Blackpool, Lancashire and Blackburn with Darwen, would work better with a more streamlined approach and one Project with a strong identity could give them a sense of pride and togetherness, therefore we are delighted to make this happen. Revolution was suggested to us and after much consultation and research we felt it fit perfectly as the age of Revolutions followed the Renaissance. With this rebrand of services, we will play a more active part in influencing change within our wider communities by tackling HIV Stigma and achieve the government’s target of no new HIV infections by 2030.”
