Our History
Founded in 1986 as a drugs helpline in Lancashire with funding from Child Action North West, we have since expanded and restructured to meet the needs of our beneficiaries.
Today, we operate across three local authorities, providing harm reduction, assertive outreach, specialist support, and opportunities for volunteering and training, all addressing local sexual health or substance use needs.
Our website offers valuable advice, information, and resources that are accessible to everyone. However, please note that our dedicated support services are funded by local councils and healthcare providers. As a result, these services are only available to residents living in the Blackpool, Blackburn with Darwen, and Lancashire Council areas. We encourage those outside these regions to explore the information on our site and seek local services in their area for tailored support.
